To all mothers who never become that because of lifelong single status, barren wombs, other unforeseen circumstances or because of choice,
I wish you love, belonging, hope and the best on Mother's Day, too;
To all you mothers who are estranged from your children and to all those who are estranged from their mothers,
I wish you forgiveness and reconciliation;
To all mothers who are alienated from your children because the system has failed you and to all those who are alienated from your mothers for the same reason,
I wish you justice, resolution and reunion;
To all you mothers who are now in Heaven,
May you rest forever in peace, in the hands of God!
To all you mothers who are missing a loved one espcially on this Mother's Day,
I wish you support, justice, answers and that your loved ones will be brought home to you, your families and communities;
To all you mothers who on this Mother's Day are missing and/or unidentified,
I wish for you that God will bring you home to your families, friends and communties where you are much loved and missed!
To all those who grew up with abusive or irresponsible mothers, especially on this day set aside to honor mothers;
I wish you healing, peace and God's power to let go,
To those mothers who have lost children because of miscarriage, stillbirth or abortion,
I wish you God's comfort, hope, peace and compassion especially on this Mother's Day;
To all you warrior mothers who are advocating causes not only on behalf of your children but for all other children and future generation,
I wish you all the support, encouragement, faith, resources, vision and God's power to prevail despite all obstacles, setbacks and opposition until the victory is achieved!
To all you mothers who have lost children because of your brave choice to place them in adoption because you put their well-being and futures before yours and to all of you who are searching for mothers who have placed you in adoption,
I wish you all the love, happiness, peace and healing that you deserve and that, one day, you may get to re-unite with your children and your mothers;
To you mothers who have lost children to illness, accidents, even to suicide or to murder and to all you who have lost your mothers for any of these reasons,
I wish you God's comfort, compassion, peace and hope especially on this Mother's Day;
To all you mothers who are spending this Mother's Day sick, injured, even hospitalized;
I wish you God's healing and hope,
To all you mothers who are spending this Mother's Day homeless with your families,
I wish you God's provision and caring people who will help you find places where you and your families can live;
To all you single mothers who have to carry out your tasks alone, without partners,
I wish you all the support, resources, motivation and God's power to carry out your challenging task of being both mother and father to your children;
To all you mothers who have lost children to miltary service or on first-responder assignments (law enforcement, firefighters, emergency medical technicians) or who have children currently serving in any of these capacities,
I thank you and your loved ones for your sacrifices and service to your country;
To all you mothers who are raising children with special needs or who are parenting with special needs of your own,
I wish you all the support, resources, motivation and God's power and encouragement to carry out your challenging tasks not entrusted to the typical mother;
To all mothers who, despite your imperfections, are trying to raise good, happy and strong children,
I wish you all God's best in this task you are undertaking in the knowledge that, if it were not for mothers, society would not exist;
To all of you who aspire to be mothers in the future,
I wish for you the granting of your desire and that God will empower you to raise good, happy and strong future generations;
And to all mothers,
I thank you for choosing life for your children and for society to continue;
To my own mother,
Thanking you for choosing life for your children, for loving us and raising us and for being you!
